6/101 Paint Quilt

I am big into patterns and am constantly finding myself cutting stencils. Whilst I enjoy using the stencils as they were intended – to cover up areas and use some stuff over them to make something else –  I am very drawn to actually using them in my artwork.

Some already have been used as stencils with paint and modelling paste and already have build up a layer. Excellent, we like that. This idea evolved from a canvas I had seen online (and can not find again for love or money). Doing the details like the little beads around some of the shapes took me all of Germany losing against Italy in the Semifinals of Euro 12. Time well spend!

Obviously there is my favourite embossing powder Verdigris involved, now that I have got a family tub of it from WOW Embossing Powder. Plus some other colours to give me the shiny accents.

We are taking part in the callenge at Simon says: Spritz, spray or stencil
